[Singapore – 20 November 2019] LAMC Productions is beyond thrilled to announce that
multi-platinum, Grammy award-winning legends of metal Slipknot is set to make a
long-awaited return to Singapore on 24 March 2020 at Fort Canning Park!
As part of their ‘We Are Not Your Kind’ Tour, Slipknot will be returning to Singapore as
one of the stops on their Asia dates, joining Singapore Rockfest II on its second day.
LAMC Productions has been eagerly waiting for Slipknot’s heavily anticipated return to
Singapore since their last concert here on 16 August 2005 at Fort Canning Park. Relating
to the same anticipation and longing of Slipknot’s fans, LAMC Productions’ co- founder
Lauretta Alabons shared, “We have been patiently waiting and hoping to bring Slipknot
back to Singapore. The band has grown immensely into one of the biggest metal bands in
the world; and we are excited to bring them on the release of their No.1 Album We Are
Not Your Kind.”
Early bird tickets are $198 and standard tickets are $218. Priority entry is available at an
additional $30. Early bird tickets will be on sale from 27 November 2019, 10am SGT
through all authorised SISTIC channels.
Fans who want to attend both days of Singapore Rockfest II can get the Double Shot
package at $336, which includes 1 standard ticket to both 4 March 2020 and 24 March
2020 shows, or the Double Shot Priority Entry package at $386, which includes 1
standard ticket to both the 4 March 2020 and 24 March 2020 shows plus priority entry.
Fans who have already purchased tickets to Singapore Rockfest II: Scorpions and
Whitesnake on 4 March 2020 can also choose to top-up the difference for a Double Shot
package.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
One of the most popular bands in the nu-metal explosion of the late 1990s and early
2000s, Slipknot were formed in late 1995 in Des Moines, Iowa; after some early
personnel shifts, the nine-piece lineup settled around.
Slipknot’s blueprint for nu-metal success was set with their theatrical, attention-grabbing
image – the band would always perform in identical industrial jumpsuits and homemade
Halloween masks, and their mysterious anonymity by adopting the numbers zero through
eight as stage aliases. Add to that a lyrical preoccupation with darkness and nihilism, and
a name for their fans (“Maggots”). Emerging in 1995, the Grammy Award-winning
issued their eponymous debut album in 1999 and went mainstream with subsequent gold
and platinum efforts like Iowa (2001), All Hope Is Gone (2008), and We Are Not Your Kind
(2019).

The widely anticipated sixth LP, WE ARE NOT YOUR KIND is already available for
streaming on all platforms. The LP is highlighted by early album tracks “Birth Of The
Cruel,” “Solway Firth,” and the LP’s lead single “Unsainted.” Each has come with an M.
Shawn Crahan directed official music video, and each has trended worldwide on
YouTube (all videos, not just music) – “Unsainted” at #1 worldwide for a full 24 hours. All
told, the band has amassed over 52 million views in only two months. SLIPKNOT shook
the world once again with the worldwide live debuts of “Unsainted” and their 2018 single
“All Out Life” on Jimmy Kimmel Live! – both of which have become the show’s most
viewed music performances of 2019 on YouTube. “Solway Firth” is also joined by a
Crahan directed official music video, featuring exclusive footage from the new Amazon
Original series, “The Boys,” alongside live performance footage from SLIPKNOT’s recent
headline festival run in Europe.
